A team of CFSRC investigators (Myers and Schafer) in collaboration with Keystone Tower Systems has recently been awarded a National Science Foundation grant to study the reliability and design methods for thin-walled steel wind turbine towers with an emphasis on a new technology for spirally welded towers.
